Arrival by car
Lucerne is situated in the heart of Switzerland and is easily accessible via the A2 motorway (Basel – Gotthard – Milan). Exit the motorway at the “Lucerne Centre” junction from the north or “Lucerne South” from the south. In the city, follow the signs for “Küssnacht / Verkehrshaus”.
Parking
A limited number of hotel-owned parking and underground garage spaces are available for our guests. Please reserve in advance at info@europe-luzern.ch. The price for the parking space is CHF 30.00 per night.
Additional paid parking is available opposite at the Tivoli Tennis Court, Hotel National, Casino Palace, and the Transport Museum. The car parks and Transport Museum are only one bus stop or about a 10-minute walk from the hotel.
You may drive up to the front of the hotel for luggage loading and unloading, and for check-in/check-out.
Bus parking
Tour buses may stop for up to 20 minutes on the designated parking spaces in front of the hotel for loading and unloading. A paid bus parking area is available at Seeburgstrasse 35, 6006 Lucerne. Please note the paid parking times. You can view the location here:
Arrival by public transport
You can also reach us by public transport. You can find the best train connection in the SBB online timetable.
The bus stop “Europe” for lines 6 and 8 is located in front of the hotel. The bus is scheduled to run every 5 minutes. Travel time to the Old Town/Main Station is 5 minutes.
